Built to feel like test day

Adaptive Module 2

Your Module 1 score decides whether Module 2 is easier or harder, the multistage design the Digital SAT uses.

Timed modules

32 minutes per Reading and Writing module and 35 per Math module, each ending automatically when time runs out.

The 10-minute break

The full-length test includes the break between sections, so you practise your stamina for the whole test.

Calculator and reference sheet

A built-in graphing calculator and the formula reference sheet in Math. (The real test uses the Desmos calculator.)

Mark for review and question map

Flag questions, see which ones you've answered and jump back before you submit a module.

Answer eliminator and grid-ins

Cross out choices, and enter student-produced responses with the official rules: up to 5 characters (6 if negative).

What you get after the test

  • Raw scores for each section and module, and which Module 2 you were routed to.
  • Your focus areas: results by content domain, skill and difficulty, with links to free topic guides.
  • Every question explained, with your answer, the correct answer and how long you spent.

Use official tests too

These are original practice tests, so they can't give you an official score. Take the College Board's free full-length tests in the Bluebook app for a scaled score, and use ours for extra timed practice and a detailed skill breakdown.

Questions about the practice tests

Is this SAT practice test really free?

Yes. The tests on this page are free and you don't need an account. Your answers are saved in your browser, so you can reload the page without losing work.

Are these official SAT questions?

No. They are original questions written by TutorAura in the Digital SAT format: the same sections, timing, question types and content domains. For official questions, use the free practice tests in the College Board's Bluebook app as well.

Do I get an SAT score at the end?

You get your raw score (questions correct) for each section and module, plus a breakdown by content domain, skill and difficulty, with every answer explained. We don't convert it to a 400–1600 score, because the College Board's scoring is calibrated with data that isn't public. Bluebook practice tests give an official-style scaled score.

How long does the full-length practice test take?

2 hours 14 minutes of testing plus a 10-minute break, the same as the Digital SAT: Reading and Writing (54 questions, 64 minutes) then Math (44 questions, 70 minutes). The section tests take 64 or 70 minutes.

Is the practice test adaptive like the real SAT?

Yes. Each section has two modules, and how well you do in Module 1 decides whether Module 2 is easier or harder, as on the Digital SAT. The exact rule the College Board uses isn't published, so ours is an approximation.

Is there a penalty for wrong answers?

Not on the Digital SAT: you aren't marked down for a wrong answer, so answer every question. In these practice tests, unanswered questions simply count as not correct.
