What is TutorAura?

TutorAura is a personal AI tutor for students from grade 1 to grade 12, in every school subject. It helps with homework, explains topics step by step, helps you understand questions, quizzes you before tests, and offers a short daily lesson that remembers what you're working on. There's also an interactive whiteboard for handwritten working, and deeper exam prep (question bank, diagnostic, study plan and practice tests) for the Digital SAT and GCSE/IGCSE Maths.

Which subjects and exams are supported?

The AI tutor helps with every common school subject from grade 1 to 12: maths, English, science, biology, chemistry, physics, history, geography, computer science, economics, social studies and languages. Curated practice (an original question bank, a diagnostic, a study plan and practice tests) is available for the Digital SAT (Reading and Writing and Math, including four full-length adaptive practice tests) and selected GCSE Mathematics and IGCSE Mathematics topics. For other tests and exams, the tutor quizzes you and helps you plan. We don't claim full syllabus coverage for any curriculum.

Which grades is TutorAura for?

Grades 1 to 12 (roughly ages 6 to 18). When you sign up you choose your grade, and the tutor pitches explanations at that level: simple words and everyday examples for younger students, exam-level detail in high school. If your school uses years or forms, pick the closest grade.

Is it suitable for younger children?

Yes, with a parent or guardian involved. For grade 7 and below, a parent or guardian confirms during setup that they set up or allowed the account. The tutor keeps to schoolwork, uses age-appropriate language, never asks for personal details, and encourages students to talk to a trusted adult if something is worrying them.

Can I use TutorAura from any country?

Yes. The website and app are available worldwide, and your curriculum is chosen separately from your country. Payments depend on our payment provider supporting your country and card. If checkout isn't available for you, the billing page will tell you.

Is TutorAura available in languages other than English?

Not yet. The interface launches in English. The platform is built so translations can be added, and we'll only publish a language once it is fully translated.

AI tutor

Will the tutor do my homework for me?

No, and that's on purpose. It helps you understand what the question is asking, explains the idea, and guides you through it one step at a time, checking you've got it. For essays it helps you plan and gives feedback on your draft rather than writing it for you. That way you can do the next one on your own.

What is the daily lesson?

A short one-to-one lesson you can start each day. The tutor picks up from what you've been working on (a test coming up, a topic you found tricky), asks you questions as it goes and gives feedback on your answers. You can also bring your own homework or topic instead.

How does the AI tutor read my handwriting?

When you choose “Check my work” or “Explain this step”, we send an image of your working (or the region you select) with the question to a vision-capable AI model. We don't send every pen stroke, only the snapshot you ask about. If your writing is unclear, the tutor will ask you to clarify instead of guessing.

Can the AI tutor make mistakes?

Yes. AI models can be wrong, especially with ambiguous handwriting. The tutor is designed to guide you with hints and questions rather than hand over answers, and curated hints and solutions from our question bank are always labelled as such.

Is there a limit on AI requests?

Yes. The free trial includes a limited number of AI requests, and paid plans have a generous daily allowance to keep the service fast and fair. Your current usage is always shown on the Billing page.

Learning

How does the diagnostic work?

If you add exam prep (Digital SAT, GCSE Maths or IGCSE Maths), you answer 8–12 questions spread across its topics. Your answers are scored on our servers, topic by topic. Topics you scored below 50% become priorities, and your study plan is built from the results.

Where do the practice questions come from?

Our question bank is written specifically for TutorAura. We do not copy past papers. Every question is labelled as original, and questions generated by AI on request are clearly labelled as AI-generated and unreviewed.

Do you have full-length practice tests and past papers?

Yes, original ones. There are four full-length Digital SAT practice tests that follow the real structure (two adaptive Reading and Writing modules, a 10-minute break and two adaptive Math modules, with real timing and test-day tools), plus timed GCSE-style and IGCSE-style mock papers with mark schemes. Real past papers and official practice tests are copyrighted by the College Board and the exam boards, so we don't copy them; we link to the free official versions instead. Results show raw scores and your weak areas; we don't estimate scaled scores or grades, because official scaling and grade boundaries aren't public.

Does TutorAura replace my teacher or official exam materials?

No. TutorAura is a study companion. Always check your exam board's official specification and sample materials for the authoritative content and format of your exam.

How much does TutorAura cost?

After the trial, TutorAura costs $15 per month, billed monthly. You can cancel at any time from the Billing page, and you'll keep access until the end of the period you've paid for. Your bank may add currency conversion fees.

Privacy

Who can see my work?

Only you. Your whiteboards, answers and conversations are private, protected by per-user access controls, and never shown in search results.
